Melinda Olbert is a Financial Advisor with Cetera Advisors LLC. Melinda worked with ING from January of 2006 to December 2013. From 1997 through 2005, Melinda was an financial advisor and branch office manager with American Express Financial Advisors (now known as "Ameriprise Financial"). Prior to joining American Express, Melinda worked as an attorney in Oklahoma City for a private law firm and then for the Oklahoma Insurance Department. Melinda's prior experience as an attorney gives her knowledge in some specialty areas of financial planning.
Melinda graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Political Science in 1985. She graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1988. She currently holds the Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63 and 65 security registrations, as well as insurance licenses. Melinda is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional.
Melinda's sons Taylor, Cale, and Cameron keep her very busy.In her spare time, Melinda enjoys reading, skiing, bicycling, watching sports (especially her kids!), church activities, and travel.
